• when we sing the first words of a nursery rhyme “we’re tidying up the toys…” the kids automatically know we will tidy up together
  • we know some of the body parts, 4 – 6 year-olds know them to greater details (where the food goes, where our ribs are, how we breathe…)
  • we know the seasons
  • preschool children can write their own name, also some 4-year-olds are clever enough to master this:)
  • we know basic traffic signs
  • we know that before crossing the road we always stop and wait for the other children, look to see if there are any cars on the road and only then walk quickly to the other side
  • preschool children know basic geometric shapes, we distinguish width and length of pictures
  • we can count to 20, cleverer ones can even count to 100 🙂
  • 4-year-olds and older kids dress themselves
  • we can sing several autumn and Christmas songs
  • our preschool children can cut with a cutlery knife themselves
  • our two-year-olds can eat on their own using a spoon and a fork
  • we all know that when we are using an exercise book, we do not leave the table until exercise is finished
  • we all remember to wash our hands before and after a meal
  • our preschool children help younger children with getting dressed
  • we can draw imaginately– without going out of the lines
  • we can share our toys and ask politely if we want something:)
  • we go for walks together twice a day, if the weather is fine. We walk to Lenin’s park, down the road to Europa SC, to Medokyš, upper and lower playground on Belveder, and above all the younger ones respect the older ones and vice versa.
